Physical Therapist Assistant
Ashley Kirschner graduated from Northern Virginia Community College with honors in 2000 and became a licensed Physical Therapist Assistant. From an early age, she was interested in the medical field and was motivated to enter the field of Physical Therapy after working for a family friend who is a Chiropractor and Physical Therapist.
The majority of her 17 years as a PTA has been in the outpatient orthopedic setting, treating various sports-related injuries as well as rehabilitation following orthopedic surgeries. She loves to learn and has picked up many techniques from very skilled therapists and doctors as well as continuing education through the years. She is always searching in her "bag of tricks" for the right intervention for each patient and loves to see the results they produce.
She loves animals, being outdoors, camping, hiking, cross-country skiing, and gardening.
