Steven Jin, DACM
Dr. Steven Jin received his Master of Science degree in Traditional Oriental Medicine (MSTOM) from Pacific College of Oriental Medicine through a full-time, four-year graduate program. He then furthered his studies by completing the school’s doctorate program, which focuses on the integration of acupuncture and Chinese Medicine in today’s healthcare system.
Dr. Jin is licensed to practice acupuncture in New Jersey and New York, and is board certified by the National Certification Commission of Oriental Medicine (NCCAOM) as a diplomate of Oriental Medicine and Chinese Herbology. He is a member of the New Jersey Association of Acupuncture & Oriental Medicine (NJAAOM).
During his studies at Pacific College, Dr. Jin completed his clinical internships at the school’s wellness clinic and volunteered in community outreach programs sponsored by the school. He also participated in additional externships by providing treatments for patients undergoing chemotherapy and radiation therapy at Mount Sinai Beth Israel's Integrative Oncology Center, locals and tourists at The Grand Meridian Clinic in Chinatown, and students and faculty at Columbia University's Health Services Center.
Dr. Jin is a firm believer in life being all about balance. He believes that the future of healthcare and medicine involves integration, collaboration, and modern clinical knowledge.
Dr. Jin received his Bachelor’s degree from Rutgers University with a focus on communication and public relations prior to studying Asian Medicine. During and after his undergraduate studies, he worked as a math tutor, pharmacy technician, and freelance web developer.
In his free time, Steve likes to travel and document his travels through photographs. He also enjoys racing his car at various racetracks in the East Coast.
